ACLC and AFC Are One in Heart in Montana for the 06

 U.S. National Peace Tour

By Pastor Mike Yakawich 5-19-06

On Friday, May 19, 2006, we held our monthly ACLC prayer breakfast at Perkins Restaurant in Billings, Montana. Guided by both Mr. Paul DiLorenzo (Director of the American Family Coalition) and Pastor Mike (ACLC co-director) a successful completion of the Montana Peace Tour and Blessing 06 was achieved.

Based upon the April 29th ACLC Conference "A Spiritual and Religious Solution to Drugs in Our Community" and this Prayer Breakfast for May 19, 2006, we are confident to report over 100 people received the Blessing and participated in this Peace Tour in Montana.

At this prayer breakfast:

·       Rev. Melvin Terry began our program with a very inspiring prayer. He is the assistant pastor to the All Nations Christian Fellowship Church.

·       Then, Rev. Eric Fridrichson offered sound Biblical words taken from St. Matthew 5:10 Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God. II Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us, we pray you in Christ's stead, be you reconciled to God.

Elder Paul DiLorenzo  then read some very inspiring passages from Gods Ideal Family and Peace Kingdom: 120 Nation Peace Tour including:

·        I hope that you will put on new true love armor in this new age and be wise and brave activists in the universal peace kingdom corps, for the sake of humanity's future.

·       Please become true princes and princesses who can attend and live together with God, the eternal peace king, as the true parent of humanity. Let us each live up to the standard of a true filial child, a patriot, a saint, and a member of the family of divine sons and daughters of God, in order to create the peace kingdom for all eternity.

·       The family set the pattern for all people to live together in harmony. The family where parents and children love and respect each other, where husband and wife are grounded in mutual trust and love, and brothers and sisters trust and rely on each other, and all live together as one, is the model and the ideal. This means that you need to establish a true family where in the stem of true love emerges from the roots of true love and bears the fruit of true love.

Pastor Mike led in a Blessing of all guests which was well received. One faith leader proclaimed, We certainly can receive as much Blessings as possible! Thank you very much.

Mr. DiLorenzo then presented five Ambassadors for Peace Awards.  This totals 24 Awards (included those presented at the drug conference) for this special Peace Tour for Montana.

We felt so much of Gods warm embrace as the participants shared their appreciation for the Awards and the Blessing. Some Ambassador for Peace were even excited to travel more in the name of ACLC to promote peace whether outside the city or outside the nation.  Several participants volunteered to go with Pastor Mike to the Native American Reservation at Crow to assist other ACLC leaders there in hosting and promoting a prayer breakfast, support and healing those in need on the reservation and border towns.

The attacks of Satan have been strong to our Native American brothers and sisters with serious drug and alcohol problems, poverty and even recently several murders explained Rabbit Knows Gun a spiritual leader of the Crow Nation. I am so grateful for the work of ACLC.

Several people reported how they were so inspired by the Drug Conference as well held on Saturday, April 29th. Bev Hardy of LIFTT (a service organization for disabled) commented, "The ACLC conference gave me many new insights into solutions for drug addiction especially inspiring was the talk by Adam Mallack, a leader of the Muslim faith in Montana." The Blessing and Awards program reached out to and included over 80 people on that day as well.

Other discussions were on the recent "Hearts and Hands" project in which ACLC and other churches worked together on Saturday, May 13th. Blood donations to hygiene bags to school backpacks were    put together for the community. Kelly Kirkpatrick from the LDS church who was the key sponsor thanked every one for all their support and hard work on that day. She stated, “It was so wonderful when the Family Church and other churches came last Saturday to work together on making quilts and putting items together to help those less fortunate. I could feel the love of God in our presence.

The 9th Annual March Against Drugs and Violence was also discussed. It will be held on June 10th and the ACLC membership are key sponsors to this annual citywide event. The Police Department, local service organizations and several churches are strong supporters financially of this event. Dr. Briggs from the Chapel of the Diamond Hope Church offered a prayer of protection and success for this program.

We then concluded with James Laramee, a local Christian Therapist and elder of the Unity Church, offering a very embracing and uplifting prayer.

We could see the courage and strength that the ACLC members are feeling from True Parents Tour, their words and their role model. We felt that the unity of AFC and ACLC is opening the doors for the Holy Spirit to rush in.

Finally, we are so grateful for Bishop Lee, Vice Regional Director Rev. Wiesinger and ACLC regional coordinator Rev. Anglin who has guided us with so much confidence, trust and freedom to sponsor and develop the unique and special Peace Tour 06 that we could by the grace of God, Lord Jesus and True Parents successfully accomplish here in Montana.

Respectfully Submitted,

Pastor Mike Yakawich
